Given the current high frequency and severity of disaster, its management must be prioritized and the complex challenges associated with transitioning from rescue and relief operations to disaster prevention and preparedness, this policy document outlines practical and achievable development objectives.

Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) is a critical concern that cannot be addressed by government alone; it requires the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders to manage various tasks across different stages of the disaster management cycle
